I started out in a glider in 1968. First solo when i was 14. Got pulled to the dark side.
Spent a bunch of time flying around behind a noisy chunk of aluminum. Final got my glider rating.
Today helped a friend get his add on rating. His was a long time coming. 50 years.
I think I am done with power planes. Got no reason to be anywhere but where I am. Can't carry the jeep in the 150 or the bonanza. Looking forward to some long flights in my Nugget this summer.
